When John the Baptist first sees Jesus, he calls out, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” Agnus Dei is a Latin phrase meaning ‘Lamb of God’, and is the name for many historic liturgical prayers and songs. How incredible is the mercy of God that He would be willing to lay down His life as a sacrifice to redeem humanity! We can stand confident before the Lord of the universe because we have been purified by the blood of the Lamb.

This design could provide an analogy for people to better reflect on and understand the mercy of God, who sacrificially lays down His life as the Lamb. A conversation could explore what it is that would make somebody offer their life for another, or unpack just how incredible it is that the Creator would be willing to do so for His creation. How could those around you be inspired to consider and respond to the love of Jesus?

Details

This hoodie has a regular fit and is made from mid-weight, 290 GSM anti-pill fleece for warmth and comfort. It’s crafted from 80% cotton and 20% polyester, with raglan sleeves, a lined hood, tonal drawcord, a kangaroo pocket and sleeve cuff ribbing. It is pre-shrunk to help reduce shrinkage.

How to Measure

  • Lay an existing t-shirt flat.
  • Body Width: Measure 3cm below armpit, from one side to the other.
  • Body Length: Measure from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the t-shirt.

  • Warm iron (inside out)
