Gloria in Excelsis Deo, Latin for ‘Glory to God in the highest’, features in the chorus of Angels We Have Heard on High. This carol explores the scene outside Bethlehem as described by Luke, with angels and shepherds rejoicing at the birth of Jesus. The line is taken from the angels’ song in Chapter 2, where they praise God, singing glory to God in the highest and peace on earth.

While many people are familiar with the carol, and particularly its chorus, not as many would truly understand its meaning. How could you spark conversations about why God is worthy of glory, and why the birth of Jesus provides the opportunity for there to be true peace on Earth? What would it look like to share this peace with the people around you?

Details

Made from soft 180 GSM 100% cotton, this t-shirt is comfortable with a modern fit. It has shoulder-to-shoulder taping to help keep its shape, and double needle stitching on the hem and sleeves for extra durability. Pre-shrunk to help reduce shrinkage.

How to Measure

  • Lay an existing t-shirt flat.
  • Body Width: Measure 3cm below armpit, from one side to the other.
  • Body Length: Measure from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the t-shirt.

  • Warm iron (inside out)
