In Latin, the term imago Dei refers to the ‘image of God’. Drawn from the first chapter of the Bible, this likeness represents the unique worth, identity and character of humans, lovingly created to reflect the compassion and creativity of their Creator. Because we are made in the image of God, we can always know that we are worthy, valuable and loved - not as a result of anything we could ever do, but because of the unshakeable truth of who God is. 

The imago Dei opens opportunities to share what it means to be made in the image of God and how this belief has shaped our world’s understanding of human rights. It could also lead to discussions of where people draw their sense of identity and meaning; what would it look like for this to be firmly rooted in their connection with their Creator? And how could they discover more of their true self by seeking more of the true God who designed, created, and longs to save them?

Details

This hoodie has a regular fit and is made from mid-weight, 290 GSM anti-pill fleece for warmth and comfort. It’s crafted from 80% cotton and 20% polyester, with raglan sleeves, a lined hood, tonal drawcord, a kangaroo pocket and sleeve cuff ribbing. It is pre-shrunk to help reduce shrinkage.

How to Measure

  • Lay an existing t-shirt flat.
  • Body Width: Measure 3cm below armpit, from one side to the other.
  • Body Length: Measure from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the t-shirt.

Care Instructions

  • Machine wash cold (inside out)
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Do not dry clean
  • Warm iron (inside out)
  • Line dry in shade

Once an order has been placed, it cannot be edited or cancelled, so carefully check the details and sizes. If there is an issue with the final product, please get in touch.
