The Latin words imago Dei mean image of God. Drawn from the first chapter of the Bible, they represent the unique worth, identity and character of humans as being made in the likeness of God. Because you are made in the image of God you are loved and worthy and valuable not because of anything you have or haven’t done but through the unshakeable truth of who God is. The imago Dei also reveals much of who humans were created to be, reflecting characteristics of God such as His love, creativity, and relational nature.

The imago Dei opens opportunities to ask people about who has dignity and worth, and why, leading to conversations about what the image of God is and how it has shaped our world’s understanding of human rights. Where do people draw their own sense of identity and meaning? What would it look like for this to be firmly rooted in their connection with their Creator? How could they discover more of their true self by seeking more of the true God who designed, created, and longs to save them?

This t-shirt has a regular fit and classic crew neck. Made from 100% combed cotton, it’s soft, comfortable, and mid-weight (180 GSM) — great for everyday wear. Designed with durable details like neck ribbing, side seams, shoulder-to-shoulder taping, and double needle hems. Pre-shrunk to help reduce shrinkage.

How to Measure

  • Lay an existing t-shirt flat.
  • Body Width: Measure 3cm below armpit, from one side to the other.
  • Body Length: Measure from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the t-shirt.

  • Do not bleach
