The Hymn A Mighty Fortress Is Our God was originally composed by Martin Luther in Germany in 1929. Translated into various languages including several English forms, it remains one of the best-known hymns. Its words are a battle cry, an enduring reminder of the steadfast strength, security and comfort we can find in God. As believers who trust in Him, no matter what we may encounter on this earth, we know we are held fast in His sovereign hands.

This design could provide an opportunity for discussion with those who had previously been familiar with the hymn, or the beginning of a conversation about the ideas it explores. Details

This regular fit crew neck sweatshirt is made from heavyweight, 350 GSM anti-pill fleece for a warm, premium feel. It’s crafted from 80% cotton and 20% recycled polyester, with inset sleeves and sleeve cuff ribbing. Pre-shrunk to help reduce shrinkage.

How to Measure

  • Lay an existing t-shirt flat.
  • Body Width: Measure 3cm below armpit, from one side to the other.
  • Body Length: Measure from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the t-shirt.

Care Instructions

  • Machine wash cold (inside out)
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Do not dry clean
  • Warm iron (inside out)
  • Line dry in shade
